There are lots of volunteering opportunities available across the country. International NGOs, Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO), United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Peace Corps, Australian Volunteers Abroad (AVA) are always looking for hard working volunteers, but it might be a good idea to contact them before hand because they usually recruit abroad.

     You can always start your own project or help other foreigners out with their projects. Most of them, work with street children, vulnerable families or disabled children.

     There is also a huge demand for English as Second Language teacher. Look in the UB Post (English local newspaper) to find out about those opportunities.
